Whether you are playing to win the F2P Cup, 1v1 Challenge, or taking on a Squad Battle, we all are after the W. We may even make some money on the way. So let’s take a look and see which players should be in your quarantine bubble and which players you should socially distance from this week.
- SLEEPER: A medium-to-low priced player that is set up well to shock the world (in a good way)
- BREAKOUT: A player that is poised to drastically outperform their price, whatever it may be
- BUST: A medium-to-high priced player that will fail to return value on their price
Top Lane
SLEEPER: Hirit - Misfits $210,000 (vs XL & S04)
Going against Kryze and Broken Blade, both coming off of demoralizing 0-2 weeks, doesn’t scare me at all. And I bet it definitely doesn’t scare Hirit at all, especially since he is actually good at League of Legends. Big upside here.
BREAKOUT: Jenax - SK Gaming $250,000 (vs MAD & XL)
In SK Gaming’s 3 game win streak, Jenax is averaging 28.3 points per game. Which is 28 higher than his Deaths per game average (0.3). Both his opponents are very exploitable, and boy does he love to exploit.
BUST: Odoamne - Rogue $260,000 (vs S04 & AST)
Odoamne has now had 0 or 1 Kill in 7 of his 11 games this season. He has a pitiful 17 on the year, which would be dead last at the position if it wasn’t for Szygenda. Fade.
Jungle
SLEEPER: Razork - Misfits $220,000 (vs XL & S04)
Who has the highest Points per Win of all Junglers? Has to be Selfmade right? PSYCH. It is Razork. Misfits don’t always win, but when they do, Razork goes OFF. Misifts has a chance to kick XL & S04 while they are down, and Razork loves to kick.
BREAKOUT: Elyoya - MAD Lions $310,000 (vs SK & VIT)
Obviously Selfmade and Jankos are the big 2 at the position, but Elyoya has skyrocketed himself into the second tier, next to Inspired. However, Elyoya actually has massive Kill potential upside while Inspired is a safety play. We love Kills!
BUST: Selfmade - Fnatic $320,000 (vs AST & G2)
I should just be debating on whether or not Fnatic can beat G2, but I am just worried as to whether or not they can get by Astralis. If they go 2-0, Selfmade has stupid high upside, but I can’t bet on that after last week.
Mid Lane
SLEEPER: Blue - SK Gaming $240,000 (vs MAD & XL)
Keep putting Blue on Azir! He had 2 games on the Champion last week, and he went 2-0 with 30+ points in each win. SK is very hot and MAD & XL have both been very volatile this season. But with risk, comes upside.
BREAKOUT: Magifelix - Astralis $250,000 (vs FNC & RGE)
No memes here, MagiFelix has been a STUD since he joined the lineup. Even though Astralis has only gone 2-2, MagiFelix has 3 games of 5+ Kills. FNC and RGE is a crazy tough lineup, but if AST wins…. MagiFelix will just be handed MVP on the spot.
BUST: Larssen - Rogue $320,000 (vs S04 & AST)
Did you watch the snoozefest games from Rogue last week? They are better than almost everybody else, and they know it. They aren’t looking to rack up Kills, so if Larssen doesn’t get >50% of the Team’s Kills, he may disappoint.
Bot Lane
SLEEPER: Crownshot - Team Vitality $230,000 (vs G2 & MAD)
If you bet on the talent last week, you were rewarded. Crownie topped 50 points easily last week, and that was against FNC & RGE. These games against G2 & MAD should be wayyyyy bloodier.
BREAKOUT: Kobbe - Misfits $250,000 (vs XL & S04)
Kobbe has been steady all year, even in losses. His production has been nothing to write home about. However, a week where you get to go against XL & S04, both on 3-game losing streaks, well that is something to write to everybody about.
BUST: Patrik - Excel Esports $270,000 (vs MSF & SK)
We all know that XL completely revolves around Patrik, even he knows it. He has been trying to do too much lately and has been coming up well short. This once appetizing schedule now looks daunting.
Support
SLEEPER: Treatz - SK Gaming $100,000 (vs MAD & XL)
Treatz leads all LEC Supports in KP (85.5%) and it isn’t even close. Nobody is even within 10% of him. Add the recent winning streak in, and you have the recipe to a perfect Fantasy Support.
BREAKOUT: Trymbi - Rogue $120,000 (vs S04 & AST)
He stopped dying! That is all we wanted! He stopped dying and put together an easy 40+ point week. Rogue is the safest bet out there for a 2-0 week, so let’s hope he can stay alive again.
BUST: Hylissang - Fnatic $100,000 (vs AST & G2)
The Hyli Hype Train is officially off the rails. But what do you expect to happen when you die 15 times across a 2 game weekend…
Team
SLEEPER: SK Gaming $220,000 (vs MAD & XL)
There are a couple streaks intact here. SK Gaming has at least 1 win every single week of the LEC season. Even cooler though, they are on a 3 game win streak themselves. SK all day!
BREAKOUT: MAD Lions $270,000 (vs SK & VIT)
I’m tired of riding this ridiculous MAD roller coaster. It is making me…. frustrated (baited you there). The spot of third best team in the LEC is up for grabs, and they can claim it if they repeat last week’s play!
BUST: Fnatic $260,000 (vs AST & G2)
Talk about roller coasters… There are cheaper teams that have a much better win potential than the current mess that is Fnatic.
